British Safety Council members have a wealth of knowledge and experience and the BSC Exchange events provide a mechanism in which this experience may be effectively shared to improve health & safety in the workplace.
Unlike a traditional conference, the Exchange allows delegates to map out their own learning experience around specific needs, interests and challenges. Using the options of roundtable discussion groups, workshops, presentations and pre-arranged meetings, everyone can discuss their key issues, capture best practice and develop their network of professional contacts.
The purpose is to stimulate the sharing of best practice and spur people into taking fresh approaches to improve health & safety in the workplace. The Exchange also helps facilitate benchmarking by 'match making' health and safety professionals, who wish to compare safety management systems and processes with their counterparts.
“I went hoping that this was a worthwhile use of my time. It
was more than that, it was the most valuable day I have spent in a long
time.”

“The Health & Safety Best Practice Exchange format, of
formal and informal sessions, is an excellent way to meet with ones peers
and discuss common issues. The facilitator led round table discussions
are always beneficial, as each participant has an equal opportunity to
contribute.”
